if it's closer than 1000ft (300m). Vantage Vue transmitters are radio-compatible with Vantage Pro2 so you can mix and matchcomponents. Receive data directly from the outdoor sensors or use as a repeater, retransmitting the data from one console/receiver to another, extending range up to another 1000ft (300m). With Vantage Pro2 only, an adittional console can receive data directly from any special-purpose outdoor sensors.
